Robbinsville 31 South Plainfield 29 OT | Girls | Central Group 3 Opening Round
(7) Robbinsville (13-14) defeated (10) South Plainfield (12-15) 31-29 in overtime in the opening round of the Central Group 3 Tournament. A late basket from Caroline Walls in the final minute of regulation tied the game at 27-27, Robbinsville would then go ahead thanks to a three from Ava Aldarelli in the opening minute of overtime and held on for a tight victory. Aldarelli finished with 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Ocean Township 48 Hopewell Valley 46 | Boys | Central Group 3 Opening Round
The Spartans rallied from a 14-point second-quarter deficit and made 11 free throws in the late stage of the 4th quarter to rally at home. Ron Richardson had 20 points and seven rebounds and Zayier Dean added 15 points. Ocean will face top seed Ewing in the second round.

Delsea 68 Triton 38 | Boys | South Group 3 Opening Round
It was a four-point game midway through the third quarter, but the Crusaders stepped on the gas late to cruise into the sectional quarterfinals. Gabe Morton led all scorers with 21 points in the victory. Max Van Auken and Chase Ambrosius added 15 points apiece for Delsea (15-10). Tyshaun Baker and Leo Impagliazzo scored 11 points and ten points respectively for the Mustangs (17-10) in the loss. Delsea advances to face top-seeded Mainland on Wednesday.
