CBA 6 Rumson-Fair Haven 3
The Colts score four straight goals in the second period and added two more in the third after RFH closed the gap to one goal to score its first win of the season. Nick Desiderio and Dominic Szczygiel had two goals each for CBA with Sean Guinnessey adding his third of the season and Francesco Donohue netted his first varsity goal. RFH had a 1-0 lead after one period on a Nik Doumas goal. Doumas and Hackett would score late in the second to make it a 4-3 game.

Notre Dame 6 Princeton 4
Notre Dame (1-1) defeated Princeton (0-1) 6-4 to pick up their first win of the season. A consistent back and forth battle between both teams continued as the game was tied at 4-4 in the final four minutes of the third period when Mike Kuzma and Trey Guire each netted their second scores of the afternoon to give Notre Dame the advantage late. Guire also finished with two assists while Brendan Beaty’s three goals for Princeton earned him a hat trick.

West Essex 6 Montclair Kimberley Academy 2
Two separate big-time performances fueled the Knights to their first win of the new season. Evan Zieminski stopped 40 shots and Luca Infusino tallied five points for West Essex (1-1). Infusino scored two goals and assisted on three more to race past MKA (0-2).
