Middletown South 4 Summit 3 (OT) | North 2 Group 3 Semifinal
Bea Tinoco’s second goal of the match came :16 into overtime to give the Eagles a dramatic win over the Hilltoppers and a spot in a section final for the third straight year. Tinoco missed six matches due to a hamstring injury but has come back to score seven goals in the state playoffs. The Rutgers commit opeed the scoring in the ninth minute and drew a penalty kick converted by Grace Gironda to tie the match 2-2 in the second half. Summit (14-7-2) had a one goal lead twice in the second half including Parker Febo’s goal to make it 3-2. But Middletown South got the equalizer from Riley Bent off a corner kick that went back to her to score from 20 yards out to tie the match 3-3. Middletown South (16-4-1) will face Chatham on the road in Thursday’s North 2 Group 3 championship game.

Morris Knolls 2 Randolph 1 (OT) | North 1 Group 3 Semifinal
Maggie Krasnomowitz’s heroics in overtime pushed the Golden Eagles to a heart-pounding win Monday over a county rival. Kraznomowitz’s quick left foot blast in the 87th minute completed a comeback for second-seeded Morris Knolls (17-4-1). Macie Wysocki’s goal opened the scoring for Randolph (17-4) in the second half before Knolls’ Tessa Simone tied the match up in the 71st minute. The Golden Eagles will face either Ramapo or Northern Highlands in the sectional final on Thursday.

Central Regional 2 Kingsway 1 | South Jersey Group 4 Semifinal
Leah DiCillo came through in crunch time by netting a golden goal in the 97th minute to send the Golden Eagles back to the sectional finals. Top-seeded Central Regional (17-3-1) trailed 1-0 at halftime, but Ava Schmidhauser delivered the equalizer in the 43rd minute for her eighth goal of the season. Phoebe O’Rourke scored her fourth goal of the year in the loss for fourth-seeded Kingsway (13-7-1). Central will try to win its second-straight SJ Group 4 title against Eastern on Thursday.
