New Jersey is no stranger to having teams reach the national rankings and earning recognition among the best in the country. What we’re seeing right now in the Garden State girls’ soccer scene is unprecedented.

Not one, but two programs have been firmly ranked as Top 10 high school clubs in America all season long, and it just so happens they’re on a collision course. Rutgers Prep stands tall at No. 2 in the nation, and DePaul Catholic is just five spots behind at No. 7, according to the most recent poll via the United Soccer Coaches Association.
