Emotions were high in a pregame ceremony at Clifton Stadium and those feelings bled over into an impassioned 2-0 win for Clifton (11-1) over Gill St. Bernard’s (8-4). The Mustangs honored the life of the late, great Clifton soccer star Stan Koziol with a presentation to his family. After that, Clifton pulled away thanks to a Knights own goal in the first half and a goal from Steven Ozga in the second half.

Pingry (12-0) remains undefeated following a 2-1 victory over Watchung Hills (5-5). The game got started with goals from Lucas Ribeiro and Anthony Bugliari to put Pingry ahead 2-1 at halftime. Ribeiro added a second score in the closing minutes or regulation as Watchung Hills had a great defensive outing in the second half. Head Coach Miller Bugliari picked up win 901.
