Freehold Township 3 Watchung Hills 0 | Girls

The Patriots continue to assert themselves as one of the elite teams in New Jersey. Gaby Parker, Hailey Santiago and Kayla Wong all scored for Freehold Township (11-1) in a win over a fellow Top Five ranked team in the Garden State. Watchung Hills (12-1) suffers their first loss of the season.

Elizabeth 3 Monroe 2 | Boys

No. 11 Elizabeth improves to 9-4 following a 3-2 win over Monroe (8-6-1). The Minutemen led 2-0 at halftime when a goal from Andy Alvarez made it a three score deficit. A pair of goals from Diego Galindo and Jaden Lu in the final 20 minutes brought brought Monroe within one score late, but Elizabeth was able to hold on for the victory.

Toms River North 4 Colts Neck 1 | Girls | SCT First Round

The Mariners trailed 1-0 until late in the first half, but came back to beat the Cougars going away. Alexis Garcia, Kaylee Nagle, Madison DiEugenio and Erin Misa all scored goals in the win for North (9-4). Isa Suarez scored a goal for Colts Neck (5-6-1) in the loss.

Rumson-Fair Haven 4 Matawan 2 | Girls | SCT First Round

Kate Hennen and Paige West scored two goals apiece to lead RFH to its highest-scoring output of the year.  Hennen connected on a 29-yard blast in the seventh minute and West connected in the 32nd to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 halftime lead.  Hennen’s second goal came in the opening minute of the second half with West scoring a big insurance goal late in the second half.  Sophia Garafalo had a pair of goals for the Huskies.  RFH advances to the second round of the Shore Conference Tournament and will face top-seed Freehold Township on Thursday.
