Freehold Boro 2 Rumson-FH 1
Joseph Calecchia turned away 42 shots and the Colonials scored two goals in the span of 10 seconds to score an upset win in Shore Conference play. Sam Catalano gave RFH a 1-0 lead early in the third period. The Colonials responded with goals by Anthony Caruso and Joe Barone. Despite being outshot 43-19, the Colonials were able to hand RFH its first loss of the season. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights and post-game reaction from the Red Bank Armory:

Princeton 3 Robbinsville 2
Princeton remains undefeated on the year at 7-0-1 following a close 3-2 comeback win over Robbinsville. The Tigers scored three unanswered goals after falling behind 2-0 after the first period. Stephen Avis, John Zammit and Rocco Salvato each found net for the Tigers, Salvato also added an assist. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:

Mountain Lakes 2 Mount Olive 0
Mountain Lakes goaltender Ben Polizzi stopped at 19 shots he faced against the Mount Olive tri-op Monday night as the Lakers (9-0-1) continue their undefeated start to the season. Defenseman Griffin O’Shaughnessy scored in the first period and Cameron Egan converted against an empty net inside the final minute to secure the win.
