St. Benedict’s Prep 88 St. Joseph (Met.) 54 | Boys

Ty-Laur Johnson continues to add to an already impressive resume in his junior season. The multi-talented point guard dropped an insane stat-line – 30 points, 10 assists and 10 steals – to help push St. Benedict’s Prep (14-1) to a non-conference win. Ladji Dembele also shined with 19 points, 12 rebounds and a handful of thunderous dunks in this game. St. Joseph Met. (12-4) trailed by 30 points at the end of three quarters, but still received a team-best 27 point effort from Ethan Simmons.

Roselle Catholic 67 Manasquan 44 | Boys

No. 2 Roselle Catholic (16-1) defeated Manasquan (12-3) 67-44 to pick up an impressive 16th consecutive win. Manasquan keeping the contest tight through two quarters trailed only 26-21 at halftime. Roselle Catholic would extend the lead to as many as 26 in the fourth quarter. University of North Carolina commit Simeon Wilcher and Nebraska bound Jamarques Lawrence combined for 35 points.
