Salem isn’t exactly known as a South Jersey basketball hotbed, but that’s changing in a hurry this winter. The Rams knocked off Pitman 73-61 on Monday night for their 13th straight win. The streak comes after an 0-3 start to the season for Salem. Former St. Augustine and Rutgers standout Anthony Farmer is in his first season as head coach of the Rams, with Farmer’s son Anthony stepping into the spotlight as Salem’s point guard.
