James Anderson led four Eagles in double figures with 19 points and sparked an 11-0 run in the 4th quarter to give Middletown South a seventh straight win and a second victory over the Mustangs. Marlboro led 55-51 after three quarters but the Eagles improved to 10-1 thanks to their balanced attack. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights from the Shore Conference:
Mainland 37 Holy Spirit 32
The Mustangs trailed by eight early in the fourth quarter but engineered a 13-0 run to storm back and topple the Spartans. Luke Mazur scored a team-high ten points in the win. Tony Tamanini knocked down two huge three-pointers to help fuel the game-winning run by Mainland.

Pleasantville 64 Middle Township 60
The Greyhounds were in cruise control for most of the night, but had to hold off a late charge from the Panthers to earn the victory. Elijah Jones led the way for The Ville with 21 points in the win. Matt Marino pumped in 21 points for Middle in the loss.
