Princeton 5 Notre Dame 4 -OT
One of the most anticipated match ups from the Colonial Valley Conference this season did not disappoint as the third meeting between Princeton and Notre Dame came all the way down to the wire yet again. With one win away from advancing to the Mercer County Tournament Final Notre Dame got ahead early thanks to Ben Killian who scored a hat trick in the second period to put the Irish ahead 4-2 entering the third. However, The Little Tigers had some playmakers of their own as Aidan Trainor also had himself a hat trick including his third period goal that tied the game and eventually sent it to overtime. It was then Rocco Salvato’s time to shine as he scored the game winning goal in the opening minutes of OT to send Princeton to the MCT Final. Watch the highlights and Salvato’s postgame reaction now:

Hun 6 Paul VI 1
Defending Mercer County Tournament Champion and number one seed the Hun School of Princeton reasserted their dominance Tuesday night as they took down fifth seed Paul VI 6-1. Matthew Argentina was the difference maker for the Raiders as he had 2 goals and 2 assists. Hun will take on second seed Princeton in a must see MCT Final on 2/16. Watch the highlights now:
