The start of the 2019 New Jersey high school football season has finally arrived! After weeks of training camp, JSZ will have you covered with every game throughout Week 00. Our coverage starts tonight as we’ll bring you highlights of Paramus Catholic vs. West Catholic (PA) and Kearny vs. Boonton.

What a way to start the 2019 season. Paramus Catholic’s rushing attack was virtually unstoppable as the Paladins rushed 31 times for 330 yards and six touchdowns, with five different ballcarriers scoring. Junior running back Jahsim Brooks scored two rushing touchdowns, while quarterback Dorian Nowell connected with Andre Barrett for the lone passing score. Danny Portas scored the first two TD’s of the 2019 season on short runs and threw a 19 yard TD pass as the Bombers dominated in Week 00. Jordan DeCosta, Korey Dempster and Clyde Liverpool added ground scores with Titus Johnson making the TD catch.
