Delbarton 4 Don Bosco Prep 2
Hunter Macy broke a 2-2 tie early in the third period in what proved to be the game-winner as the Green Wave win the NJ Non-Public state championship for a third straight year. Delbarton lost two regular-season meetings to the Ironmen, but answered with a Gordon Cup and state title over their rival. Hunterdon Central 5 Woodbridge Township 1
Scott Schnell scored in the opening minute of the game and added two more goals in the third period for a hat trick as the Red Devils win their first state championship on the ice. Watch Schnell’s snipes and post-game reaction from the Prudential Center:
Northern Highlands 1 Randolph 0 – Public “B” Final
Cormac Cindrich scored the game’s lone goal in the first period and John Werber turned away 19 shots to give Northern Highlands its first state title on the ice. JSZ has the big moment from the Rock:
Summit 3 Chatham 0 – Public C State Championship
Nikita Pryymak turned away 32 shots for a third consecutive shutout in the post-season and Greg Spitznagel scored a pair of goals to give the Hilltoppers the Public C title. JSZ has highlights and post-game reaction from the Prudential Center;
