JSZ’s Week 1 coverage continues with tremendous action all around the state. Enjoy the highlights!

Irvington 25 Millville 17 | Rumble on the Raritan

Irvington and Millville were the last two teams standing in Group 4 a year ago. That begs the question: what if they played for a state championship? Although its not last seasons’ teams, the Blue Knights and Thunderbolts put on a physical showcase at SHI Stadium. Famah Toure, playing on his future college field, ran in a pair of scores to pace Irvington (1-0), while Kentucky-commit Nasir Addison had a 65-yard touchdown catch. Addison also did a masterful job at limiting star sophomore Lotzeir Brooks. Millville (0-1) looks to rebound against Williamstown next week.
