Monroe 9 St. Joseph (Metuchen) 6 – Boys – Greater Middlesex Conference Final
Top seeded Monroe captured its second consecutive Greater Middlesex Conference Title with a 9-6 victory over second seed St. Joe’s (Metuchen). Rainy weather played a huge role in the first quarter as Monroe fell behind 3-2. However, once the skies cleared in the second, Monroe tied the game at 3 before Matt Dorrian helped them take a 5-3 lead at halftime. From there the Falcons maintained a steady lead and Dorrian finished the night with four goals. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:

Logan Hone led the way for the Hermits with four goals in the victory.
