Alex Iadisernia blasted a grand slam in the fourth inning to cap off a six run comeback as the Jags rallied from a 7-2 deficit to end the Bees 13 game win streak. Iadisernia broke an 8-8 tie in the sixth with his 5th RBI of the game on an RBI single to right. Ty Beck was 4-4 with 3 RBI’s including a huge two-run single in the 6th to give the Jags some insurance. (#3) South Brunswick 1 vs. (#6) J.P. Stevens 0 – GMC Championship Tournament Quarterfinals
South Brunswick had outscored J.P. Stevens, 16-2, through two regular season games earlier this year, but it was a different story Friday night. Mike Reyes produced a go-ahead RBI triple to score the game’s lone run and then pitched a perfect seventh inning to collect the save in a nail-biting win.
