JSZ has highlights from three exciting games for you on this Friday night!

Millburn 2 Seton Hall Prep 1

Alex Wilson delivered Millburn’s biggest hit so far this season. Leading off in the bottom of the seventh, Wilson turned on a 2-2 fastball and drove it out of the yard for a walk-off home run to defeat rival Seton Hall Prep. The Millers (4-0) defeated the Pirates (3-1) in a walk-off to win the 2021 Greater Newark Tournament final last year, and found more heroics this season.

JSZ’s Jay Cook has the highlights from Essex County:

Cranford 4 Westfield 3

No. 11 Cranford remains undefeated at 3-0 with a 4-3 victory over Union County Conference foe Westfield. The Blue Devils went ahead 2-0 in the first inning off a two run home run from Leo Mangiamele. Following an RBI on a fielder’s choice, Cranford with a two run fifth inning from Lucca Limeira and Shane Van Dam would take a 3-2 lead. Despite another Westfield home run, Sean Woodruff pitched seven innings and threw 10 strike outs for the Cougars. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:
