Mainland 50 Egg Harbor Twp. 38 | Boys | CAL Tournament Quarterfinal

The Mustangs became the first eight seed to ever win a game in the Cape-Atlantic League Tournament, knocking off the top-seeded Eagles. Mainland trailed 12-2 after the first quarter, but outscored EHT 23-9 in the fourth to win it going away. Cohen Cook led all scorers with 21 points. Christian Rodgers added 13 points, while Tim Travagline scored 12 points for the Stangs (13-10). Anthony Colon scored 14 points for the Eagles (20-3) in the loss. Mainland advances to face St. Joseph Academy in the CAL Tournament semifinals on Wednesday.

It was a business trip for the sixth-seeded Spartans on Friday night, leading wire-to-wire to advance to the CAL Tournament semifinals. Jahmir Smith knocked down four three-pointers in the first half on his way to a game-high 22 points in the win. Jamil Wilkins scored eleven points, seven coming in the fourth quarter to seal the win for Holy Spirit (14-7). Bubba McNeil finished with a team-high 18 points in the loss for third-seeded Middle Township (15-6).
