Rutgers Prep 78 Seton Hall Prep 65 | HoopGroup Tip Off Showcase

With tons of young talent on their roster, Rutgers Prep is fixing to be a key player in the Non-Public B bracket this season. The Argonauts secured their second win in as many games Saturday after a 20-point game from Noah Harris and an 18-point, eight rebound effort from senior Nico Galette.

Patrick School 70 Hun School 49 | HoopGroup Tip Off Showcase

Eligibility issues with the NJSIAA leaves The Patrick School’s three star players Johnathon Kuminga, Adama Sanogo and Bretner Mutombo on the bench. But the Celtics have shown through two games already they might have one of the deepest rosters in the state. Samson Johnson (22 points), Noah Farrakhan and Zarique Nutter (18 points each) led the way for TPS in another early season win.

St. Augustine 77 Trenton 45 | Ocean City PBA Tip-off Weekend

The Hermits opened the season with an emphatic win over the Tornadoes at the Ocean City PBA Tip-off Weekend. Sophomore Elmarko Jackson led the way with 18 points. Nick Leo and Matt Delaney each chipped in with 13 points for St. Augustine. Preston Carter scored a game-high 19 points for Trenton in the loss.

Wildwood Catholic 58 Notre Dame 45 | Ocean City PBA Tip-off Weekend

West Virginia commit Taj Thweatt threw down dunk after dunk, en route to a game-high 27 points for the Crusaders. David Zarfatti chipped in with 12 points as Catholic improves to (2-0). Quentin Autry scored a team-high 15 points for the Irish in the loss.

Blair 69 Patrick School (National) 57

Despite University of Virgina commit Jabri Abdur-Rahim being out, Blair Academy defeated newly formed Patrick School National 69-57. The Bucs trailed 30-24 at halftime but battled back thanks to a 21 point performance from Akoldah Gak. Fellow 2021 four star prospect Jaylen Blakes finished with 24. Toms River North 81 Point Pleasant Boro 46 | WOBM Christmas Classic

Najae Hallenbeck had 22 points and 18 rebounds and Jakari Spence added 21 as the 2nd seeded Mariners cruised into the quarterfinals of the WOBM Christmas Classic and a matchup with Donovan Catholic. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has highlights from Toms River:


Camden Catholic 49 Burlington Twp. 38 | Jimmy V Showcase

The two-time defending Non-Public A South chamption Fighting Irish needed a team effort to get past Burlington Township. Aric Hall scored a game-high 17 points to lead Camden Catholic in the victory. Zach Collins had a big third quarter, with 7 points and two blocks, to help the Fighting Irish pull away in the second half.
