Woodrow Wilson 28 Rumson-Fair Haven 6 | Central Jersey Group 3 Final

Naz’sir Oglesby had 152 yards rushing including two fourth-quarter TD runs and the Woodrow Wilson defense was able to stifle RFH on its home field to win a third straight sectional championship. On a cold November night, Devin Kargman was able to throw for 205 yards on an RFH defense that did not give up a first down in its first two playoff wins. Colin Kennedy’s 1-yard TD run got Rumson within 8-6 with six minutes to go but Oglesby delivered the dagger with a 52-yard TD run on the first play from scrimmage following the Rumson touchdown. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has highlights and post-game reaction from Borden Stadium:

Don Bosco Prep 17 St. Augustine 0 | Non-Public A Semifinal

The sixth-seeded Ironmen make the long trip to South Jersey and emerge with a ticket to MetLife Stadium by shutting down the second-seeded Hermits to advance to the Non-Public A title game. Red Bank Catholic 21 St. Joseph Academy 10 | Non-Public B Semifinal

There aren’t many players in the state of New Jersey nearly as red-hot as Alex Brown is right now. The Caseys’ signal caller tallied up two touchdown runs for Red Bank Catholic (10-1) in a second half outburst against St. Joe (8-3.) Brown scored eight touchdowns in last week’s win over Morris Catholic, the day after his mother passed away after a long battle with cancer. RBC will advance to play top-seeded DePaul Catholic in the Non-Public B Final next week.
