DePaul Catholic 21 Don Bosco Prep 20 | Super Football Conference

The Spartans orchestrated a come-from-behind win to secure their best start since the 2008 season. DePaul Catholic (6-0) trailed in the fourth quarter for the first time this season but didn’t bat an eye. Junior QB Derek Zammit connected with senior Notre Dame commit Elijah Burress for a 30-yard, go-ahead touchdown with 10:49 left in regulation to gave the Spartans the lead for good in the fourth quarter. Zammit finished 14-19 with 216 passing yards, two touchdown passes (both to Burress) and 46 rushing yards in the win. Don Bosco Prep (2-3) has played the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the state in back-to-back weeks and lost by just five combined points. Sophomore QB Dylan Wrona passed for 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the loss.

Somerville 41 Summit 0 | Big Central Conference

Brenden Pacheco threw four touchdown passes and added a TD run as part of a 41-point first-half explosion in a battle of unbeaten teams.  Princeton commit Brady Scheier had two touchdown catches and Max Nuzzi had two TD grabs of his own with Terrell Mitchell topping 100 yards on the ground with a score.  Somerville is now 6-0 on the season.

Mainland 14 Ocean City 0 | West Jersey Football League

The Mustangs beat the rival Red Raiders in a defensive battle in Linwood. Rocco DeBiaso scored a touchdown for Mainland (4-2) and helped lead the way on defense as well. Nate Rivera and Khaleeb Foster had interceptions in the victory. Clifford Dirkes had a sack for OC (4-2) in the loss.

Timber Creek 24 Willingboro 20 | West Jersey Football League

The Chargers saw a 17-point halftime lead disappear until Erik Worley’s timely pick-six late in the fourth quarter gave them the lead back for good in a WJFL thriller. Quadir Baldwin and Zyeir Green scored touchdowns in the first half for Timber Creek (4-2). Christopher Foster gave the Chimeras the lead in the fourth with a 70-yard touchdown run. Sean Taylor and James Pemberton added touchdowns in the loss for Willingboro (4-2).
