Cedar Creek 35 Winslow Twp. 27

The Pirates trailed 13-7 at halftime, but then scored three straight touchdowns in the second half to stay undefeated. Ja’Quan Howard led the way, rushing for over 200 yards and three touchdowns. Elijah Smalls had a touchdown catch and an interception in the win. JC Landicini threw a pair of TD passes, while JoJo Bermudez had a TD catch for Creek (8-0). Hamas Duren rushed for two touchdowns and threw two TD passes for the Eagles (5-2) in the loss.

Don Bosco Prep 17 DePaul Catholic 14

There aren’t many teams in North Jersey playing better than the Ironmen are right now. Don Bosco (4-3) has rattled off three straight wins against St. Peter’s Prep, Delbarton and now DePaul Catholic (5-2). Don Bosco went into the half with a 17-6 lead after Kyle Bohm connected with Bobby Mays on a double-pass trick play just moments before the break. Touchdowns from A.J. Rodriguez and Jake Kucera kept DePaul Catholic in the game, but Nick Severin’s key interception late in the game virtually sealed the win for Don Bosco.

Union 42 North Brunswick 0

Union (6-1) picked up a sixth straight win following a dominant 42-0 victory over North Brunswick (5-2). The game got started with a 73 yard touchdown run from four star recruit Davison Igbinosun, quarterback Jayden Stewart added a one yard score to put Union ahead 14-0 after the first quarter. Stewart would run in and pass for another touchdown as he finished with 131 yards of total offense. The Farmer defense was able to shut down a North Brunswick offense that outscored opponents 77-21 in their last three match ups.

Haddonfield 14 Sterling 7

The Bulldogs made the most out of their first home game in over a month, knocking off the Silver Knights in a key matchup in the race for the WJFL Colonial Division title. Senior Dante Del Duca wowed the crowd with two incredible catches, one going for the go-ahead touchdown. Senior Bobby Hahn rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown while also adding an interception on defense in the win for Haddonfield (5-2). Sophomore Nehemiah Butler-Mayhew rushed for a touchdown in the loss for Sterling (5-2).
