JSZ once again brings you a handful of great games as we head into another busy weekend!


Roselle Catholic 78 Bergen Catholic 67 | Boys | Tom Sacks Memorial Classic

The Lions have been awfully busy over the last eight days and come out of a four-game stretch unblemished. Duke commit Mackenzie Mgbako had 22 points and 12 rebounds, Simeon Wilcher compiled 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists to power Roselle Catholic (10-4) to their fifth straight win. Tarik Watson scored all eight of his points in the fourth quarter by scoring, which gave the Lions a much-needed boost late. Bergen Catholic (11-6) got an incredible effort from Brandon Benjamin and his 21 points and 18 rebounds in the loss.

Trenton 59 Hightstown 43 | Boys

Trenton (17-1) defeated Hightstown (9-9) 59-43 to pick up back to back wins. The first two quarters of play were a tightly contested battle as Trenton led 25-23 at halftime. However, the Tornadoes opened the third quarter revitalized to go ahead 45-30 entering the fourth. Kabrien Goss and Davontay Hutson both finished with 16 points for Trenton.

Millville 53 Hammonton 51 | Boys

Raquan Ford caught fire in the second half to lead the Bolts to a tight victory over the Blue Devils. Ford scored a game-high 16 points, while Donte Smith added 13 points for Millville (13-4), which clinched the Cape-Atlantic League American Division title. Kenny Smith and Bryce Nicholson scored 14 points apiece for Hammonton (9-7) in the loss.
