Hillsborough 8 Bridgewater-Raritan 2

Hillsborough begins the 2021 hockey season 1-0 following an 8-2 victory over Skyland Conference rival Bridgewater-Raritan. The Raiders jumped out to a six goal lead entering the third period following an early four goal performance from Brock Forrest.

Marlboro/Holmdel 5 Brick Township 0

Ethan Gelman had 2 goals and an assist and Dimitri Kasparov delivered a 15-save shutout to give the Mustangs an impressive opening night effort in Middletown against the Dragons. Marlboro scored in the first three minutes of all three periods to control the game.

West Essex 3 Livingston 0

West Essex opened their McInnis Division schedule with a big win Friday on the heels of some timely goals and steady goalie play. Zach Jewett made 30 saves between the pipes while Clayton Prial, Tommy O’Hern and Rocco Garcia all lit the lamp.
