It was senior night at Ridge High School, and the Red Devils came out strong with a 3-0 lead in the first quarter. Montgomery though would not go away quietly. The Cougars got within one goal of Ridge two times, but the Devils refused to give up the lead. Ridge comes out on top today with Chris Crapanzano and Bryce Kirkwood scoring two goals each. Summit 15 Westfield 5
The Hilltoppers made a statement. After losing by only one goal to Westfield in last year’s Union County Tournament Finals, Summit came back with a bang as they took down the Blue Devils to the tune of 15-5 on Saturday. University of Tampa commit Harry Kilkowski had a career game as he scored six goals, with four coming in the first quarter alone. Nick Thomson also came to play with three goals and two assists. Summit’s win extends their record to 7-0 on the season and sets the stage for a 1 vs. 2 showdown on Tuesday when the Hilltoppers host #1 Delbarton.
