Daniel Gil Polanco, Wallington
Facing People’s Prep on Jan. 20, Wallington’s Daniel Gil Polanco exploded for a game-high 34 points as the Panthers captured their fourth win of the season. Gil Polanco brought in over 1,200 votes to win the weekly award.
Katie Reiner, Becton
Emerging as a three-point shooting specialist in Bergen County this winter is Becton’s Katie Reiner. She hit seven three-pointers and scored 30 points as the Wildcats defeated Cliffside Park 65-40 on Jan. 21. Reiner was on the recieving end of 2,000-plus votes to win the Game Ball.
