Ashley Tutzauer erupted for 32 points and 8 steals to give TRN its first WOBM championship since 2004. Sophomore Jenna Paul added 21 points for the Mariners. Point Boro was led by Ally Lassen with 19 points and Megan Hughes with 17. TRN had a 20-6 lead after one and an 18 point advantage at halftime. Steve Staklinski had 23 points including a thunderous dunk in the 4th quarter to give the Patriots the WOBM Christmas Classic title. Toms River North had a 21-20 lead at the half and trailed 27-26 after three, but the Patriots were able to feed Staklinski in crunch time to earn the championship.
