Patterson led Rutgers Prep to a 27-2 season in 2020 while averaging 19.8 points and 10.1 rebound per game. He was the only junior named a finalist for Jersey Sports Zone’s Mr. Hoop Zone Player of the Year in 2020. That list included other Garden State stars like Lance Ware, Jonathan Kuminga, Taj Thweatt and Cliff Omoruyi.
