Paulo Ferreira’s penalty kick in the 67th minute proved to be the difference as the top seeded Farmers are in the championship game to face Elizabeth.  The Minutemen scored a 3-2 win over Westfield in the other semifinal.  Following a scoreless first half, Union got on the board thanks to a tremendous volley from Josias Mendez in the 56th minute.  Ferreira’s PK made it 2-0 before SPF scored with 6:05 left on a header from Devin Pearce off a corner kicks.  The Raiders couldn’t get a shot on goal in the final six minutes as the Farmers move on to Saturday’s title game.
