Bergen Catholic 28 St. Joe’s (Mont.) 23 | Super Football Conference

A risky fourth down call from head coach Vito Campanile ultimately lead to the Crusaders reaffirming their position as the clear No. 1 ranked team in New Jersey. Campanile’s decision to give up a safety with under two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter brought the Green Knights within one score, but it was the Bergen Catholic (7-1) defense who closed the door with a fourth-down stop to seal the win. Kaj Sanders led the Crusaders with 21 carries, 168 yards and one touchdown run in the win. Dominic Campanile found Luca Cuttita and Anthony Perotti for touchdowns through the air while Dante Kain cashed in with a one-yard rushing score, too. St. Joe’s Mont. (6-2) was paced by Yasin Willis, who rushed for 100 yards and three touchdowns in the loss.
