On January 29th, Roselle Catholic junior Tarik Watson collapsed at Long Island Lutheran. The game was canceled in the second quarter and Watson spent a night in the hospital. After missing seven games, Watson was able to bounce back quickly and get back on the court just in time for Roselle Catholic’s Union County championship. Now, Tarik is back with his older brother Akil looking to give Roselle Catholic a second straight Non-Public “B” state championship.
