East Carolina commit Ava Fisher fired a one-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts to send the Wildcats to the CAL Tournament title game for a second-straight year. Riley Hunter got the scoring started with a RBI single in the first, then Giselle Pescatore drove in two runs with a pinch-hit single in the third for second-seeded St. Joseph Academy (16-7). Gabriella Cruz tossed six strong innings for Middle Twp. (14-8), allowing three runs with ten strikeouts in the loss. The Wildcats advance to the CAL Tournament final where they will face fifth-seeded and defending champion Egg Harbor Twp.
