South River 12 Princeton 2
The Rams’ bats came alive Tuesday afternoon as they got in one final game before a playoff push.
A 4-5 day from Sebastian Susinno plus a 3-3 outing from Parker Lane paced South River (12-11) to a non-conference win over Princeton (8-16). Rutgers commit Julius Rosado entered the game scorching hot with a 25 at-bat on base streak, but popped out in his first at bat of the game. Rosado rebounded with two doubles, two walks and two RBI in the win. South River will face Carteret in the first round of the Central Group 2 state tournament Wednesday.
