The Somerville Pioneers girls soccer team took on the Lady Terriers of Del Val this afternoon. Pioneers came into this one 9-1-2, while Del Val 3-12. However, it was Somerville who came out on top, defeating the Terriers 5-0. All-time Somerville girls soccer leading scorer, Christina Cernuto, scored her 24th and 25th goal this season as she inches closer to the single-season all-time goal scoring record, which is currently held by Marisa Adelman.
