John Gelatt had three goals and two assists in an outstanding performance outdoors under the lights at the Navesink Country Club to lead the Lancers to their first ice win over CBA since 2008. CBA’s Military Appreciation Game saw all the proceeds from the special outdoor spectacle to go towards purchasing a service dog for a veteran suffering from PTSD. CBA scored just 13 seconds into the game with Giovanni Crepaldi pouncing on a loose rebound. The Colts took a 2-1 lead on a Liam Noonan power play goal, but SJV would score two goals in the second and two more in the third to pick up a statement win.
