The South Jersey Basketball Academy has two coaches with outstanding pedigrees leading a positive environment in learning the game of basketball. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez spent a day at the SJBA
Their mission statement is ” to develop and refine the fundamental basketball skills needed to succeed in today’s game in a positive learning environment”. The South Jersey Basketball Academy is led by a pair of former standouts during their playing days. SJBA director Brian Bouchard was the captain of nationally ranked Rowan University and Shawnee High School during his playing days while Academy Coordinator Kevin Hagan played at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High and Drew University. The duo bring a unique camp format as they work on fundamentals inside as well as on the blacktop outside citing the importance of enjoying the game in an outdoor setting.
