Frank Duffy knows all about the rich tradition of Phillipsburg football. An all-state tight end and safety, the 2002 Stateliners graduate returned to his alma mater five years ago as an assistant on Ryan Ditze’s staff. After two years as defensive coordinator, the 32 year old took over the reins of New Jersey’s all time wins leader in 2016 as the Stateliners went 5-5. While he’s a young head coach, the influence of legendary Phillipsburg coach Phil Rohm and the intimate knowledge of what Phillipsburg football means to the community, Duffy is primed to get the Stateliners program back as a state title contender.
