The Renegades started their road back to a state final with an Olympic Conference win against a tough Lions team to open the season. Madelynn Sadusky’s goal in the 20th minute was all the Renegades needed as the defense shut down West all afternoon. Syracuse lacrosse commit Mackenzie Borbi racked up seven saves for Shawnee (1-0) and collected a clean sheet in net after having 17 shutouts a season ago. Danielle Short had five saves in the loss for Cherry Hill West (0-1).
