Notre Dame junior quarterback AJ Surace has given a verbal commitment to stay in state and play Big Ten football for Greg Schiano and Rutgers.  Surace threw for 1,737 yards in his junior year at Notre Dame with 21 touchdown passes and just six interceptions.  For his career, Surace has thrown for over 3,600 yards and 43 touchdown passes.  The 3-star recruit chose Rutgers over eight other FBS offers including Tennessee, Michigan State and Pitt.  Surace made the announcement via his social media:
