Roselle Catholic 56 Patrick School 49 | Boys | Non-Public North B Semifinal
After going 0-3 in the matchup this season, Roselle Catholic (3) defeated The Patrick School (2) 56-49 to advance to the Non-Public B North championship game. TPS went ahead 20-14 after the first quarter thanks to nine points from Noah Farrakhan. Roselle Catholic would then adjust its defensive scheme in the second quarter and lead 27-26 at halftime. In the third quarter the Lion offense would start to come to life as four star recruit Cliff Omoyuri and Xavier commit C.J. Wilcher helped them take a 42-35 lead entering the fourth. Wilcher finished the night with 15 points while Omoyuri had 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks. RC moves on to face Gill St. Bernard’s (1) in the sectional final on 3/11.
