Rumson-Fair Haven 66 Raritan 23

Rumson-Fair Haven got two celebrations in one during the Lady Bulldogs 66-23 win at Raritan.  In the closing moments of the first half, senior Grace Stant sank a three pointer to reach 1000 points in her career.  The Villanova bound star received flowers and balloons and a chance to pose with teammates at center court just before the half.  Then when the final whistle blew, more balloons – this time for head coach George Sourlis.  The 29 year head coach of the Lady Bulldogs picked up his 626th career win surpassing legendary CBA boys basketball coach Ed Wicelinski as the all-time leader in Shore Conference wins.  SSZ’s TJ Brustowicz brings you the highlights and interviews with Stant and Sourlis:
