Red Bank Catholic offensive lineman and Duke University commitment Liam Smith has been selected to play in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Carson, California on January 3rd

Red Bank Catholic offensive lineman Liam Smith has accepted an invitation to play in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl.  The national showcase game features top Division I commitments from across the nation.  The game will be nationally televised on Fox Sports 1 from Carson, California on January 3rd in Carson, California.  Smith will play for the East squad that features two other commitments to Duke.

Smith was named to Shore Sports Zone’s All-Zone football team following his junior season where he was a key part of an offensive line that paved the way for a Caseys state championship.  Over the summer, he gave a verbal commitment to play in the ACC for David Cutcliffe and the Duke Blue Devils.  Smith is the second offensive lineman from RBC to be selected to a national all-star game in the last three years.  Quenton Nelson played in the 2014 US Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.   Nelson is currently a part of Notre Dame’s offensive line.

Smith will play for the East squad that features two other commitments to Duke.
