Red Bank Catholic 4 Pingry 2 | Non-Public “A” South Quarterfinal
Steve Svenson came on in relief of Declan Leary and struck out four batters in two innings to preserve the Caseys quarterfinal win in Red Bank. RBC manufactured its runs with an RBI groundout, two bases-loaded walks and a sacrifice fly. Leary pitched five innings allowing just one run turning things over to Svenson who got the save. RBC will face 6-time section champ St. Augustine in the semis next week.
