RED BANK – John Monteferrante scored four goals to give Rumson-Fair Haven an 8-6 win over Saint Rose at Red Bank Armory. The Bulldogs scored three goals in the final 1:32 to put the game away. Saint Rose got four goals from Alex Phipps, but couldn’t hold on to a 5-4 third period lead. Will Catalano had the equalizer with just under three minutes to go in the third and Monteferrante’s fourth tally on a great redirect and follow shot put RFH ahead for good. Rumson-Fair Haven is the 16th seed in the Shore Conference Hockey Tournament and will face #1 seed Red Bank Catholic on Wednesday night at 8:00 pm at the Red Bank Armory.
