JSZ’s 2019 Mister Hoop Zone is already on campus at Villanova and is on the mend after getting a torn labrum repaired. The guard underwent successful surgery on Friday. The procedure was performed by Villanova Team Surgeon, Dr. William Emper. The McDonald’s All-American is hopeful to be back on the court in time to debut for the Wildcats at the beginning of the 2019-20 college basketball season.
“This is a tough start for Bryan,” stated Villanova head coach Jay Wright in a press release. “But he’s a very mature young man and he’ll work very hard to get himself back as soon as possible.”
Antoine played through the pain of his shoulder injury during Ranney’s run to its first ever Tournament of Champions title. The guard will begin rehab as he takes summer classes at Villanova.
