Morris Catholic fields one of the youngest starting five’s in the entire state but that didn’t stop the Crusaders from weathering the storm to earn a come-from-behind win on the Shore.
Twin sisters and freshman sensations Mya Pauldo and Mia Pauldo combined for 33 points in a gritty 53-37 win for Morris Catholic over Marlboro.
Morris Catholic (5-1) trailed 27-22 at the half and then proceeded to outscore Marlboro (4-5) 31-10 after the break. Mya Pauldo led the Crusaders with a team-high 18 points, along with six rebounds and four steals. Dani Shlesinger scored a game-high 19 points for the Mustangs in the loss.
