Jersey Sports Zone is gearing up for a FULL spring sports season. We visit Red Bank Catholic for the first full day of workouts for the Caseys baseball team, the 2019 Shore Conference Tournament champions. University of Virginia commit Shane Panzini has a high 90’s fastball and is considered a top 100 prospect in the upcoming MLB Amateur Draft. Watch our feature story on the Caseys ace!

The last time we saw Shane Panzini on the mound in a Red Bank Catholic uniform, he threw a 1-hit shutout as a sophomore in RBC’s Shore Conference Tournament championship against Manalapan at the home of the Lakewood BlueClaws. Panzini has bulked up to 220 pounds and is throwing in the high 90s. Panzini says he’ll wait until after his senior season before he thinks about choosing between UVa and the MLB Amateur Draft.
