Old Tappan wins Bergen County title for second time in school history

We’ve got Memorial Day baseball from Bergen County as Old Tappan and St. Joe-Montvale went back and forth at Demarest High School. Check out all the highlights and post-game reaction!


Old Tappan 9 St. Joe-Montvale 7 | Bergen County Tournament Final

Alex Kranzler broke a 6-6 tie with an RBI double down the third base line in the sixth inning and Lou Mosca provided what proved to be the game-winning run with an RBI bunt single to give Old Tappan a second Bergen County championship in school history. James Keating threw five strong innings on the mound and was named the Tournament MVP with Kranzler getting the top pitcher of the tourney. Mosca came on in relief in the seventh and got the final three outs with the tying run at second base. Old Tappan is now 24-4 on the season.
