Old Bridge 2 Southern 1 – Volleyball State Championship
Jersey Sports Zone is proud to bring you the exciting conclusion to the volleyball season with an all out State Final thriller from South Brunswick high school. Third ranked Old Bridge defeated defending Champions No. 1 Southern 2-1 to capture their first ever volleyball State Title. The Knights took the first set 25-22 before Southern answered back to win the second 25-21. In the third and final set they relied on captain Elan Dorkhman to keep the game close and Junior Andrew Zaleck scored the game winning kill to lead Old Bridge to glory.
