Ocean City 6 Mainland 1 | Group 3 South Final
The Red Raiders vs. the Mustangs is one of the fiercest rivalries in all of South Jersey, and Ocean City beat Mainland to win the sectional championship. Fordham commit Gannon Brady led the way, throwing a complete game five-hitter, while striking out nine. Brady also knocked in a pair of runs at the plate. Ben Liebrand, James Mancini and Joe Repetti also had RBIs in the victory for OC (18-7). Cole Campbell drove in the lone run of the game for Mainland (23-4) in the loss. The Raiders now advance to face Colts Neck in the Group 3 state semifinal round on Monday.
